Browser Privacy Check – Horus Privacy X-Ray
What is my IP address and what does my browser reveal?
Inspect the information websites can read about your browser and the status of its permissions. Results stay in your browser; no tracking fingerprint is generated.
Your IP address
Looking up your IP…Shows the address seen by the site server. VPNs and proxies can change the result. Your IP is not included in the downloadable scan report.
Browser checks run locally without uploading results. Your IP address is requested from the site server for display only and excluded from scan exports. No camera, microphone or location access is requested. The settings indicator is educational, not a security guarantee.

Browser privacy report
Privacy settings indicator
A score from supported checks, not a measure of anonymity.
What does your browser expose?
These are attributes that can contribute to browser identification—not a calculated fingerprint uniqueness probability.
Permission states
Indicator methodology
Weights: secure connection (20), Global Privacy Control/GPC (15), camera permission (20), microphone (20), geolocation (20), notifications (5). Unsupported checks are excluded from the denominator. A granted site permission receives no points for that control; prompt/denied receives full points. These are editorial weights, not a security standard or tracking probability.
How do I find my IP address?
The card above shows the IP address observed by the Horus Valley server when you open this tool. You can refresh it after switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. No account or download is required.
What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?
IPv4 uses shorter addresses such as 203.0.113.10, while IPv6 uses longer hexadecimal addresses. The tool shows which address family reached this server.
Can a VPN change the IP address shown?
Yes. A VPN can cause websites to see its exit server address instead of your direct connection. Hosting and CDN configurations can also affect the observed address; we do not invent missing information.
Does my IP reveal my precise location?
An IP address alone does not reveal your exact home address. Geolocation databases provide estimates that may be inaccurate; this tool does not perform visitor geolocation lookups.
How to protect your privacy online
Review site permissions
Allow camera, microphone and location access only when needed; revoke unnecessary permissions in browser settings.
Use tracking protections
Enable built-in tracking protection and review cookie and data-sharing settings.
Keep your browser updated
Use a supported browser version, remove unneeded extensions, and check their permissions.
Note: This checker shows browser characteristics and permissions for this website only. It cannot detect all trackers or spyware on your device, and does not request sensor access.
